A tire crane is a full-rotation boom crane mounted on a special tire chassis. It has four working mechanisms: lifting, rotating, luffing and running. The lifting and horizontal movement of goods, the adjustment of boom extension and the change of working place are completed respectively.
The lifting arm, driver's cab, power plant, counterweight, lifting, amplitude and rotating mechanism of the tire crane are all arranged on the turntable. The operating chassis is equipped with four retractable legs to increase the lifting capacity and stability of the tire crane. Although both tire crane and truck crane are wheeled trackless cranes, their structure and performance are different.
